DESCRIPTION
This fascinating piece of silent propaganda (made in England) stars Evelyn Brent as a virginal young woman who is "lured from her home into the Mormon net" by a scheming recruiter with Svengali-like powers. An early anti-Mormon film which falsely portrayed members of this world wide Christian religion as a cult of white slavers with harems full of young innocent girls. Weird. Creepy. Just the ticket for the religiously paranoid, bigoted, and un-informed among us.
