Four episodes:
- DECEMBER 10, 1949: Ed's guest star is Celeste Holm. Comedy includes Ed fending for himself deep in the heart of Africa, and touring an art museum where celebrities display their paintings.
- DECEMBER 31, 1949: Guests are Buddy Ebsen and Hattie McDaniel. Ed plays the owner of a pet store, and Buddy comes in looking for an unusual pet; in another sketch, Ed is a door-to-door salesman and encounters everyone's favorite housekeeper, Beulah!
- FEBRUARY 2, 1950: Garry Moore is the guest. Ed is the proprietor of a diner, who attempts to seat an overweight customer in a small booth with five other people; Garry demonstrates his idea of an entertaining TV program.
- FEBRUARY 11, 1950: Ed's guests are Ann Sheridan and a very young Robert Clary, who sings (?!) the song that made him famous in the USA (not the theme from "Hogan's Heroes"). In the comedy sketch, after receiving word that Gary Cooper has canceled his appearance, Ann gets his part of a notorious outlaw!
"Series Synopsis: The Ed Wynn Show is a weekly comedy variety show with the focus on Ed Wynn, even though there were weekly guest stars. Ed is worth the focus as he performs many of the characters he perfected during his years in vaudeville and radio for the relatively new television audience. Ed is an icon, with many of his skits and characters imitated and parodied for decades in film, TV, and cartoons. One of the funniest and most underrated comedians in the history of show business and dubbed "the perfect fool", Ed is joined by top guest stars in one of the earliest series to be aired live from Hollywood. Originally broadcast October 6, 1949 to July 4, 1950."
