DESCRIPTION
Richard Greene plays Robin Hood, the dashing hero of Sherwood Forest in this adventure series set in medieval England. Robin Hood robs the rich and gives to the poor, liberates oppressed peasants and rescues maidens - all to the exasperation of the evil sheriff of Nottingham. Three episodes on one volume:
- BROTHER BATTLE - Brother Wootan, a friar, has been banished repeatedly for teaching serfs to read. Robin allows him to start a school in Sherwood. Unfortunately for Robin, Wootan arrives just as he is planning to capture a consignment of gold on it’s way to Prince John. Guest Star: Francis de Wolff.
- ROAD IN THE AIR - Sir William has imposed an import duty on all grain taken to Tom's mill. Unless it's paid, no one will cross his land, which surrounds it. Robin plans a way to get the grain to the mill without anyone setting foot on Sir William's land. Guest Stars: Laurence Hardy, Nigel Davenport.
- CARLOTTA - Little John is in love. He thinks. Robin and Marian suspect her honesty. When Robin and Derwent plan to steal gold bound for Prince John, they use Little John's girlfriend, Carlotta, to find out if she can be trusted. Guest Star: Jennifer Jayne.
