Richard Greene plays Robin Hood, the dashing hero of Sherwood Forest in this adventure series set in medieval England. Robin Hood robs the rich and gives to the poor, liberates oppressed peasants and rescues maidens - all to the exasperation of the evil sheriff of Nottingham. Three episodes on one volume:
- HUBERT - Lady Rowena is being forced to marry a local nobleman, De Vere. An inexperienced Knight, Sir Hubert, is determined to storm the castle single-handed to save her. But who will save him? Take a guess. Guest Stars: Dorothy Bromiley, William Greene. Directed by Terence Fisher.
- MY BROTHER’S KEEPER - Sir Loren is caught ill-treating a blacksmith, and is banished from home by his father. Later, in anger, Loren kills his brother in the forest. Robin and Little John witness the killing, but know they cannot risk giving evidence themselves, so Robin plans a way to make Loren confess. Guest Stars: Maurice Kaufman, Carl Bernard, Virginia Maskell.
- AN APPLE FOR THE ARCHER - According to her father's will, Mary Quartermaine must marry the best bowman in the land. Robin plays cupid when he teaches young Timothy Cox to shoot an arrow well enough to win the lovely Mary as his bride. Guest Stars: Ann Firbank, Kenneth Cope, Paul Eddington.
