DESCRIPTION
Richard Greene plays Robin Hood, the dashing hero of Sherwood Forest in this adventure series set in medieval England. Robin Hood robs the rich and gives to the poor, liberates oppressed peasants and rescues maidens - all to the exasperation of the evil sheriff of Nottingham. Three episodes on one volume:
- THE FRIGHTENED TAILOR - Robin has to find a list of Saxons loyal to King Richard that was accidentally stitched into the lining of the Sheriff’s new cloak.
- THE PATH OF TRUE LOVE - Robin and Marion travel back home to Locksley and find the Norman resident violently refusing to honor the contract with the land tenants. Guest Star: Lionel Jeffries.
- TOO MANY EARLS - With the Merry Men short on cash, Robin enters an archery contest for Marian’s uncle.
