1942 - This delightful mystery-comedy is one of the better Monogram productions of the early '40s. A conniving, long-winded reporter's big mouth costs him his job and gets him on the hit list of a local mobster. He ends up being framed for a robbery when his own pistol ends up in the hands of the mobster. Solid acting enhances a likable script in this nifty B movie. Recommended. 16mm.
