Private Snafu is a cartoon series by the Looney Toons gang at Warner Bros. for use by the U.S. Army as training films. Private Snafu, the character ("snafu" is a term meaning "situation normal, all f***ed up") is a hopeless loser who thinks he knows it all, never listens to anybody and messes up everything he has anything to do with. The US Army used him as an example to soldiers of what NOT to do. These wonderful Chuck Jones/Friz Freleng cartoons voiced by the great Mel Blanc bring fun to very serious WWII matters! Dr. Seuss is an uncredited writer on at least one of the cartoons:
