"Series Synopsis: Widower Sheriff Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith) and his young son Opie (Ron Howard) live with Andy's sweet Aunt Bee in the sleepy little town of Mayberry, North Carolina. With virtually no crimes to solve, most of Andy's time is spent philosophizing with the locals and calming down his high-strung cousin and sidekick, Deputy Barney Fife (Don Knotts).
