Four Star Revue was so named because each week one of four famous comedians would be the host: Ed Wynn, Danny Thomas, Jack Carson or Jimmy Durante. The title was later changed to All Star Revue when other hosts were introduced. The show ran from October 4, 1950 to April 18, 1953. First broadcast November 22, 1950.
