- Vern's Mother-In-LawMargie's dad tells her of the test his mother-in-law put him through to prove himself worthy to marry Margie's mom. Told in flashback.
- Trapped Freddie (1954) - Margie's dad tries to bribe her with a new sports car if she won't see her boyfriend for a month. Oops! Her boyfriend's hiding in Margie's bedroom when her dad makes the offer.
- Buried Treasure - Margie's dad tricks her into going to a remote resort with a phoney pirate map. When there, she has an unplanned run-in with gangsters.
"Series Synopsis: Cute and forever-bubbling Gale Storm plays sassy Margie and early matinee screen idol Charles Farrell plays her disapproving, socially snobbish and womanizing father. Margie constantly devises outrageous schemes to thwart her father's dating plans, much to his chagrin. This hilarious sitcom was planned as a summer replacement show for "I Love Lucy" in 1952, but the ratings were so good it enjoyed a four-year run. Originally aired June 16, 1952 to August 24, 1955."
